A conversation between a mother and a little boy.
“Momma, I made you a very special drink. Do you want some?” – Little Boy
“Of course. Thank you.” – Mom
Mom takes a big sip of drink.
“Ack. *Cough, cough* What is in the drink?!! *Cough, gasp*” – Mom
“Lime juice, cinnamon, mustard and baking soda. I made it all by myself. Pretty good, huh?” – Little Boy
Mr. Mischief?
Yes, but not this time. He was being part scientist and part cook. Fool was me, for not taking a small sip.
Haha! Funny! My junior high bestfriend and I gave her dad dill pickle juice and said it was limeade! Haha! It still makes me laugh:)
Parents are not always so bright. You would think the dad would have smelled the pickle juice.
My kids called such drinks Secret Potions.
(When I first saw your photo I thought it was one of those disgusting vegetable juices that everyone seems to be drinking these days.)
The photo is just one WordPress provides. My actual drink looked much better and smelled like limeade. I was a fool.
I remember the days of making such drink concoctions as the dare part of Truth and Dare. With cinnamon and lime, your son took a culinary trip to India or Thailand
