Happy Halloween friends.  Yesterday, I told you I was about to embark on a something new.  Today is the first day of my ‘new thing’.  I have enrolled in a 5-week on-line course.  It is called Path Finder, created by author and photographer, Karen Walrond.  Karen Walrond’s book, Beauty of Different, was a featured book for my blog Wednesday Words of Wisdom.

I subscribe to Ms. Walrond’s photo blog, Chookoolookns.  Her blog is both inspirational and beautiful.  A while ago, she asked her readers if they were interested in participating in on on-line self-discovery course.  I wanted very much to take part, but due to the overwhelming response, the class was full.

When Ms. Walrond offered the course for a second time, I signed up right away.  Here is a little information about the class and the kinds of things I will be doing, for the next five weeks.

So, beginning Monday, October
31st
, and every weekday for the 5 weeks thereafter, I’ll share
thoughts, meditations and actions on living a life with more intention.
This is going to be light and fun:  we’ll talk journaling, vision
boarding and exercises, with thoughts, quotations and even interviews to keep
with us to help remain mindful of our purpose throughout our days as we go
through our routines.  The primary purpose of this path finder is to enjoy
ourselves
— and hopefully, along the way, you’ll start to believe how
awesome you really are, how your Different has the potential to be your
superpower, and how you can help yourself make your life fit more like a
well-tailored suit.

I have no idea what the outcome for the class will be.  I am hopeful unanswered questions about my next step in life, will be answered.  The class sounds like a discovery.  The thing I am hoping to discover is me.  My ‘midlife something’ is still unresolved.  Maybe this class will give me insight and direction.

So in addition to doing a little part-time work, I will be taking class.  It should be very interesting to see how I find time to get everything done.  Luckily, I have a very supportive husband and no one expects perfection from me.  Whew!

As always, things I learn I will be sharing with all of you.  So in a way, it will be like you are taking a class too.

Have a wonderful week and I will talk with you soon.
